Adulthood
On 1920 December 28 Amelia and Edwin went to California to see an air show. And Amelia went on her very first flight that day. Then when the plain was a few 100 feet of the ground Amelia said “I knew I had to fly.” As time pass Amelia worked very hard and with her moms money together, she was able to pay the flying lessons. Then Amelia purchased her own airplane. The plain was a bright yellow color and she would nickname her “Canary.” Then Amelia got her airplane license and set a new record of altitude for female of 14,00 feet.
